Beauties of America Pageant Crowns New Titleholders!
The Beauties of America Pageant began over 30 years ago with the purpose of ‘Celebrating Beauty and Achievement at Every Age!  The Beauties of America Pageant believes that pageantry has a positive message to share; celebrating not only inner and outer beauty, additionally recognizing the achievements of the American woman.

For many years titles have been awarded in the Teen, 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s & 60s age divisions.  2015 introduces several new titles to the Beauties of America family, growing the Beauties of America to 11 titleholders!  The new titles are: Little Princess (ages 4 – 6), Princess (ages 7 – 9), Pre-Teen (ages 10 – 12), Jr. Teen (ages 13 – 15) Teen (ages 16 – 19), 20s (ages 20 – 29), 30s (30 – 39), 40s (40 – 49), 50s (50 – 59), 60s (60 – 69) and Diamond (lifetime titleholder over 60).

2015 introduces new titleholders that will continue their reign until August 2016.  The new titleholders were awarded during the Crowning Ceremony Reception held in San Antonio, Texas.  Welcome, Beauties of America 2015/16 titleholders!

Beauties of America Diamond – Billye Fietz
Currently residing in Texas, Billye is the first Diamond titleholder and a previous 60s titleholder. One of her wonderful talents is quilting. Three words that best describe her are Creative, Dependable and Determined. When asked ‘who or what motivates you and why?’ She responded, “I can be a bit of a procrastinator. Knowing I have a deadline (even a self-imposed one), always get me moving. Crossing thing off a list keeps me satisfied.” Additionally we asked Billye, ‘What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?’ She responded, “My family! I’ve been married for 48 years; have 3 wonderful grown children, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. I am extremely blessed!”

Beauties of America 50s – Terry Hlibichuk
Terry is our first national titleholder from the beautiful state of Wyoming! One of the many things she enjoys is storm watching. Three words that best describe her are Determined, Sincere and Kind. When asked ‘who or what motivates you and why?’ She responded, “My clients motivate me because they work so hard towards their goals.” Additionally we asked Terry, ‘What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?’ She responded, “My son and grandchildren and that I’ve never given up on my goals!”

Beauties of America 30s – Nicole Roberts
Currently residing in Texas, some of her hobbies are reading and fishing. Three words that best describe her are Kind, Funny and Intelligent. When asked ‘who or what motivates you and why?’ She responded, “Happiness motivates me, if you are happy and positive everything else falls in place.” Additionally we asked Nicole, ‘What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?’ She responded, “While I was a college student I was part of changing the odds of the lottery scratch off tickets.”

Beauties of America 20s – Amanda Middleton
Currently residing and teaching in Texas, part of her many hobbies is hiking. Three words that best describe her are Philanthropic, Tom-girl and Big-Red (Gum). Visit our website for more details on her Big-Red description! When asked ‘who or what motivates you and why?’ She responded, “My students motivate me every day to be a better person and teacher. I want to be the best I can be so they enjoy school and become the best version of themselves.” Additionally we asked Amanda, ‘What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of? She responded, “I am most proud of accomplishing my childhood dream of becoming a teacher and winning the 1st Year Educator of the Year award for my school as well as the Alamo Toyota Driving Education to the Top Award 2014 for all of San Antonio.”

Beauties of America Teen – Lysette Lara
Currently a college student in Texas, one of Lysette's many talents is singing.  Three words that best describe her are Outgoing, Compassionate and Confident.  When asked, 'who or what motivates and you why?'  She responded, "My mother and all of the children in the world whom I have yet to meet because their drive and passion for life inspires me to be a better and brighter individual and someday change the world."  Additionally we asked Lysette, 'What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?'  She responded, "Making a difference in the life of a young girl in distress at a treble region choir performance.  I comforted her and at the end she was grateful for the concern of a stranger and lifting her spirit up."

Beauties of America Jr. Teen – Shelby Frederick
Shelby is the first Jr. Teen titleholder for Beauties of America.  Residing in Texas with her family, she has several hobbies which include cooking and baking.  Three words that best describe her are Dedicated, Fun and Kind-hearted.  When asked 'who or what motivates you and why?'  She responded, "My family motto, 'Frederick's don't say can't."  Additionally we asked Shelby, 'What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?'  She responded, "overcoming my learning disabilities in speech and reading."

Beauties of America Little Princess – Makayla Hernandez
Makayla is the first Little Princess titleholder for Beauties of America.  She enjoys life in Texas with her family and loves to dance!  Three words that best describe her are Caring, Happy and Smart. When asked 'who or what motivates you and why?' She responded, "My mom, because she helps me do better."  Additionally we asked Makayla, 'What accomplishment in your life are you most proud of?"  She responded, "Graduating to the First Grade 2015-16!

The Beauties of America Pageant philosophy has always been that women and young ladies are fabulous and unique at every age, and pageants should reflect that.  Through the years, the Beauties of America Pageant has been fortunate to see many beautiful and accomplished women and young ladies.  For over 30 years the Beauties of America pageant has been true to its' mission of 'Celebrating Beauty and Achievement at Every Age!'
