Sponsors and partners as well as numerous vendors had their wares available and on sale at Miss America's Trade Show. The Pageantry booth manned by none other than Pageantry's CEO, Carl Dunn, was teeming with action; Carolyn Ladd, "Beauties 40's" and Christy Passoth, "Beauties 60's" had a chance to chat with Carl.
Christy also showcased some of Ms. Bellezza's famous jewelry, which has been featured in Pageantry numerous times, while she conversed with this famous jewelry designer, Catherine Potieter.
Miss America 1962, Maria Beale Fletcher, also a former Rockette and a Vanderbilt University graduate, spoke with Christy. This fascinating former Miss America was featured in a one-page editorial in the official Miss America Program Book. During her year's reign, she visited 37 hospitals and military bases in Germany, France, and England.
The famous "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign where Eliza Rister, "America's 30's" and Christy Passoth, "America's 60's" met, was created in 1959 by Betty Wills. Every year over 36 million people arrive and over 19,00 conventions are held in this city that has celebrated its 106th birthday.
America's 30s Elisa Rister and Christy Passoth America's 60s, arrived in Vegas wearing their beautiful national titleholder jackets. Both ladies, as well as 40's queen, Carolyn Ladd, several former titleholders, and friends were in town for the 91st Miss America Pageant and some of the festivities associated with this iconic event, as the "Miss America Trade Show, the "Dinner Gala" and of course the pageant itself.
Fun between events was had including Christy's chance meet up with one of the gorgeous showgirls.
