Elisa Rister, America's 30 was on hand to help her fellow pageant sisters ( Megan Ritter, 2011 Arizona Teen All American and the 2012 Mrs. Arizona America delegates) at The 2011 Stars and Stripes Classic benefiting the Joe Foss Institute. Elisa attended the annual event to help raise funds for the the Institute.
The goal of this organization is to step into schools to promote proficiency in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The Joe Foss Institute invests in our future leaders through America's veterans, Inspiring Patriotism Program. They interact with students and share their stories and teach them about our Constitution, the Bill of Rights and students' responsibility to be a good citizen and inspire them to continue on to college.
Elisa, America's 30 was on hand to help raise funds for this event that inspires young people to focus on education and the importance of patriotism. The evening event was expected to raise close to $1 million.
